Minerva Heritage has presented detailed design proposals to Trustees, advisers and volunteers and continues to develop these. Learning materials will be created in partnership with local schools. As access to the site is restricted this can’t happen until 2019. Self-guided trails and virtual tours are also being developed.
A Cumbria-based company, Rocket Sites, redesigned and relaunched our website which will develop as work progresses. It is essential for keeping everyone informed, and to build interest prior to the 2019 reopening. Twitter and MyDonate accounts are go, and integrated into our new website. A new volunteer has already come forward as a result of our Twitter account.
A marketing plan will be produced with our partners, such including the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway. We have met with the Railway manager and will meet with the parent company’s Head of Marketing is fixed for December.
