“Where Steam Meets Waterpower Heritage Tour”, Sunday 2oth September

 

Join Ravenglass Museum and Eskdale Mill for a day of steam trains and waterpower. Find out more about the industrial heritage of Eskdale!

Led by enthusiastic and knowledgeable guides, you’ll be taken on a tour of Ravenglass Museum, enjoy a 7 mile scenic return ride on a historic steam train and shown around Boot village and Eskdale Mill, the last working watermill in the Lake District.

Sunday 20th September 10am-3.40pm. Adults, £30 Children, £16

Booking is essential to secure your place unless otherwise stated.

For mill workshops, you can email Kate for card payments over the phone, pay directly at reception or make your online payment above.

All workshop charges include materials, refreshments and admission into the mill.

Tools and equipment are provided, when needed.

Beginners are welcome.

Due to the type of practical workshop activities, spaces are limited.

Toilet facilities are available at the mill.

There are no parking facilities at the mill or in Boot village. Parking for the village is available at Dalegarth Station, a 10 minutes scenic walk away.

Any disabled users are advised to arrange parking in the village nearby beforehand with Kate the Mill Manager
